OVERVIEW: Looking for someone with strong eye for design to create professional BRAND GUIDELINES STYLE DOCUMENT based on my positioning & audience (see attached), which I can eventually share as a reference for designers to create documents, content, presentations, and collateral with consistent, unique look & feel.

DELIVERABLE: Brand Style Guidelines document in PDF form- with all elements below included, which I can hand off to designer to guide development of Word template, PowerPoint template, Website design. (I've also heard about Canva Work, where you can host all the assets in some online portal. Anyway, I'm open to the idea of this living online somewhere too, which can make it easy for designers to DL assets.

TYPE OF CREATIVE I'M SEEKING:
I'm looking for someone who will actually read my brief & design something in accordance to how I describe myself in the Brand Overview attached.  The person who describes their approach & responds to my questions as they specifically relate to this Brief will stay in the running.  I'm also looking for someone who's actually excited about the idea of building a brand to help people trying to relaunch their careers.

To separate out Creatives who do not bother to read my Brief, I will ignore those who respond to my questions or send a cover letter that suggests they've not reviewed my full brief & attachments.  In other words, if your responses is one that could easily be cut & paste to apply to any project here, I'll assume you're doing exactly that, and you will not be selected.  I hope you understand.

COMPONENTS TO INCLUDE IN BRAND STYLE GUIDE:
Main elements needed:
1. Fonts & font colours- Title, Subtitle, H1, H2, paragraph, bulleted lists, numbered lists, quote, full page headlines, header, footer, page numbers
2. Font/color treatment for: “Joseph Liu” (my name) & JOSEPHPLIU.COM (my website)
3. Table style- border line colours, header row style, first column style
4. Icon styles- example treatment, colours (or suggested free flat icon set, e.g., list of free sets, here or here)

Include (from attachments):
5. Colour palette- in place, but completely open to others
6. ILUMITY Logo- my consulting company, although I plan to use my personal name as my main brand moving forward. If you feel this just confuses things, we can put this aside for now.
7. Imagery style- can use any of these images: http://finda.photo/search?q=business or http://www.pexels.com/search/business

Optional to integrate:
8. Brand overview text (only if can be integrated elegantly)- see attached docs for text

IV. TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS
• Fonts chosen should be a) readily accessible (e.g., via Google Fonts) & web-friendly. If there’s a killer font out there though that I need to purchase, as long as I can share with others somehow, I’m open to it.
• I use a Mac, but sometimes present on PCs, so would be good know PC True-Type Font equivalents of those chosen
• Feel free to just use IPSUM LOREM text with everything

V. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
• Would like something very CLEAN, SIMPLE, and MODERN.  Should look current, not dated, not fussy, antique, or too corporate.  See attached brand overview for style guidelines & Canva example fonts/colours I like.

We are working on a single-page web app; the current development is being done using Twitter Bootstrap styles, but we are switching to a design put together by a professional graphic designer. This design currently only exists in PDF form; we're looking for someone experienced with Less stylesheets to style our existing web app in accordance with this design.

This will be part-time work, as the original app is not yet finished; as sections are finished, we will be handing them off to you for styling. This will stretch out over approximately 2 months, but will not be full-time over that time period.

Our development environment has only been tested on Linux and has a dependency on Docker, so developers running Linux on their work machines are preferred. Docker experience is NOT required; neither is experience with the rest of our development toolchain.
